About

Who makes tigerpassword, and why

tigerpassword is built by TigerCodes, LLC, led by Tiger. It started with a simple frustration: paying every month to rent access to secrets that live in a file smaller than a photo, held by a company that could be breached, bought, or shut down.

What we believe

  • You should be in control of your secrets. Not a company, not a cloud, not a subscription.
  • Security is a design you can read, not a badge on a landing page. Our threat model, crypto specification and audit scope were written before the marketing.
  • Honesty compounds. Our comparison pages say what the other product does better. Our security page says we are not audited yet. A reader who catches one overclaim discounts everything else — and they would be right to.
  • Accessibility is not a feature. Every control has a name, a visible focus, and a 44-pixel target; the phone apps follow your text size. The website you are reading holds to the same rules.

How it is funded

By the people who use it, once. The Kickstarter pays for the independent security audit, code signing and the polish of 1.0; licenses after that pay for the years of updates. There are no investors asking for a subscription line on a spreadsheet.
